The red three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring, and it frames a 120-mph sweep speedometer, gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature, and warning lights. Additional equipment includes an AM radio, a clock, a locking glovebox, and a rear passenger ashtray. Red and white door panels are fitted, and multi-tone red carpets line the floors. ![]() The interior features front and rear bench seats that are trimmed in red and white vinyl with textured gold inserts. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drums. The Villager rode on a 118″ wheelbase and features a coil-sprung independent front suspension along with semi-elliptical rear leaf springs. The 14″ body-color steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 225/75 Coker Classic whitewall radial tires. Stone chips and evidence of paintwork can be seen in the gallery. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, a vertical front grille insert, quad headlights, a fender-mounted driver-side mirror, and a split-folding tailgate. This example was delivered from the factory in President Red with a Snow White roof, lower tailgate, and bodyside accents (FE1) and is said to have received paintwork under previous ownership. The Edsel line was redesigned for the marque’s second model year in 1959. This Edsel Villager is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve in Dripping Springs, Texas, with a Pennsylvania title. Features include chrome bumpers, a split-folding tailgate, a driver-side fender-mounted mirror, a heater, an AM radio, and lap belts. ![]() The car is finished in two-tone red and white over tri-tone red, white, and gold cloth and vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a 332ci V8 paired with a two-speed Mile-O-Matic automatic transmission and a 3.10:1 differential. It spent time in Pennsylvania before it was purchased by the current owner and moved to Florida in 2019. This 1959 Edsel Villager station wagon was completed on December 12, 1958.
